St. Lawrence County

EWPH is funded by the New York State Department of Health.

The overall goal of this project is to combat childhood obesity in St. Lawrence County by improving access to physical activity and promote healthy eating featuring fruits, vegetables and low fat-fat free dairy products through policy, practice, and environmental change among 2-8 year olds and thier families.

EWPH has three Core strategies:

• Increase devlopmentally appropiate physical activity
• Increase consumption of 1% or less milk and low-fat diary products
• Increase consumption of vegetables and fruit
