GEAR 2008

What to expect during GEAR 2008!

The following are the distances you can expect for each of the main legs of the race:

Go Extreme:
Running/Walking/Jogging (your choice) - 4-5 miles
Canoeing - 4-5 miles
Mountain Biking - 9-10 miles

Go Easy:
Running/Walking (your choice) - 3-4 miles
Canoeing - 3-4 miles
Mountain Biking - 6-7 miles

The course does not require the use of a compass, however it is essential that teams have at least one member who is experiences at reading maps. Please click here to look at last year's course maps and instructions.

***NOTE***At check-in each team member will be required to read and sign a waiver and photo release form. If a participant is under 18 the waiver must be signed by a parent or guardian. If a parent or guardian will not be present at the race they must contact the office at 267-3393, in advance, to receive one by mail.
